Plan a Luau Theme Party It's always fun to add a theme to a party. It inspires your decorations, music and, of course, the menu. A very popular theme is a luau. You can go all out with your Luau Party and roast a pig in your yard, if you're so inclined. Or you could scale it back and serve some traditional Hawaiian flavors and concentrate on the decorations like tropical flowers and leis. Either way, your guests are going to love it. Make a Seashell Centerpiece Centerpieces don't have to be elaborate, expensive arrangements. This lovely centerpiece can be made after you return from a trip to the beach, just by using items commonly found around the home. Meet Your Neighbors at a Block Party There are definite advantages to knowing one's neighbors. Where else can you turn for that needed cup of sugar to finish making a batch of cookies? And who else will save you from eating those cookies all by yourself?
