If you purchased an iPad using the pre-order system, your new device should be in your hands by the end of the day on Saturday. But if you thought you could just walk into an Apple Store this weekend and walk back out with an iPad, well, you're out of luck. Almost.

There's a remote chance you'll be able to pick one up at Best Buy on Saturday, but you better be first in line. Best Buy's stock will be very limited, at least for now.


Time Machine and SuperDuper Make for Easy Backups
Readers occasionally write to ask my opinion about how they should go about backing up their Macs. That can be a difficult question to answer, not because backing up is difficult, but because each user's needs will be a little bit different. Apple iPad Sold Out
You may have already heard that Apple has sold every iPad it had available for the April 3 launch date. That's quite an accomplishment, which probably means the iPad will be the most successful product launch in Apple's history.

If you would still like to pick up an iPad on launch day, there is another option. Best Buy stores that carry Apple products will have around 15 iPads in stock. Better get there early if you want one... Read more

Leftover Easter Ham Recipes
If you're planning to cook a large ham for Easter you're probably going to have leftovers. From Fried Rice and Winter Melon Soup to Egg Foo Yung, these easy Chinese recipes are a great way to use up leftover cooked ham. Just be sure to refrigerate the leftover ham within 2 hours and use within 3 to 4 days.

Chinese Tea Eggs (Marbled Eggs)
Here's a different way to serve hard boiled eggs on Easter morning - in this recipe the boiled eggs are gently simmered in a flavorful combination of black tea and spices. For an extra kick, serve them with hot mustard or mayonnaise mixed with a bit of sweet chile sauce.

Mongolian Lamb
A classic northern Chinese dish - marinated leg of lamb is paired with fresh garlic and scallions (spring onions) and coated in Chinese seasonings. Asian sesame oil provides the finishing touch. Hunan Lamb - lamb with chili peppers and leeks.
