Vinho dos Mortos - The Wine of the Dead The wine has an interesting story behind it. See what makes this wine unique, and use it as an excuse to see some of the rural north of Portugal. A great place for foodies who don't worry about their ingestion of the best butter in the world--not to mention for those who take an interest in D-Day beaches and war memorials, Normandy is well worth exploring. Visit the Jewish Catacombs Under Rome One of the more ghoulish things to do in Rome is to head out to the catacombs to see bones stacked everywhere. Rome's archaeologists and planners are readying another interesting burial place in Rome at Villa Torlonia. Take the virtual tour for now. It's not ready for visitors yet.
