If you look at a calendar you will see that we have been in spring for close to two weeks now, but you wouldn't know it to look out the window in central or northern Italy. Day after day of leaden skies, and though we had more showers than real rain during the week, the floodgates opened today. It feels like February, though it's supposed to improve some tomorrow. Happy Pasquetta Too!
Pasquetta is Easter Monday, and is traditionally the first celelbration of spring, a day city folk head, weather permitting, out into the countryside for a picnic.
