Thomas the Tank, the plucky little blue train engine, is the star of books and tv shows and the favorite toy of many kids. Fans can actually ride on a train pulled by Thomas: every year, Thomas makes a tour, and in 2010 Thomas will welcome more than one million passengers on board, at 45 heritage railroads in the US and Canada.
