From Kyle Phillips, your Guide to Italian Food
Wife E went to a conference yesterday, in a town in the Appennino Romagnolo called Bagno di Romagna -- Bagno has a number of meanings associated to one degree of another with water, and the organizers did include a massage in one of the town's hot springs.

Today Daughter C and I joined E. The dog was with us, so the pool was not an option and we therefore took advantage of the other thing the town has to offer: hiking trails, including some well suited to children. A beautiful way to spend a warm spring day, and on the way home we stopped to walk a trail from which you can see, in one direction, Monte Falterona, where the Arno starts, and in the other monte Fumarolo, where the Tiber starts. Beautiful green mountains!

We will be going back. With bathing suits.
