From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
I think one of the best things about cruising is the wide variety of ships. Ships range in size from less than a dozen passengers to over three thousand, and the prices range from less than $100 per day to over $1000 per day! Is a large cruise ship the best fit for your vacation personality? What are some examples of things to do and see on a large cruise ship?

Do You Have a Large Cruise Ship Personality?
With hundreds of choices, almost everyone can find a cruise ship to suit their tastes. There are certainly ships of all sizes and price ranges!

How do you choose a cruise ship to fit your vacation personality? Large mega ships with over 1,500 passengers are the most common type of ship. Is a large ship best for you and your family? You might like a cruise on a large ship if these factors describe your cruise personality.

Example of Large Cruise Ship - Oasis of the Seas
A discussion of large cruise ships wouldn't be complete without including the largest cruise ship in the world, the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. This mega-ship has something for everyone--even those who don't think they would like a cruise!

Example of Large Cruise Ship - Carnival Dream
Carnival is the world's largest cruise line, and the Carnival Dream is her largest ship.

Example of Large Cruise Ship - Norwegian Pearl
The Norwegian Pearl was designed for NCL's Freestyle Cruising, and she was the first ship to include a bowling alley.
