Japanese Recipe of the Week: Teriyaki Sardines
Many ingredients can be cooked in teriyaki-style , such as teriyaki chicken and teriyaki yellowtail. Although teriyaki sardines might not be as common as the aforementioned teriyaki dishes, I like making it when fresh sardines are available. It's called iwashi-no-teriyaki or iwashi-no-kabayaki in Japanese.
