The annual "Super Bowl for Dogs," better known as the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, gets underway today in New York (and always brings to mind the brilliant faux-dog show documentary Best in Show). Staggering to consider how much time, patience, and effort it must take to train those carefully primped pooches proudly trotting around on the dog catwalk, isn't it? Your puppy may not make it to Westminster, but all well-behaved dogs start at the beginning.
