Folks, I wanted to wish everyone who celebrates it the happiest Carnevale (Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras). And the headline? Temperatures have at last climbed back up into what's normal for italy at this time of year, freezing at night (in the hills) and up to about 10 C (50 F) during the day. The snow is gone where we are, and is declining most everywhere else, while vegetables are again making it to the markets. A huge relief for all.
