Roller Coasters

From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
There is some exciting news this week, coaster fans. For Hersheypark's 12th thrill machine (to debut in '12, how fitting), the park is looking skyward -- 200 feet skyward to be precise.

Oh, What a Rush!
In what will be Hershey's fastest and tallest thrill machine, the new hypercoaster Skyrush will climb its lift hill using a speedy cable system and then soar down its first hill at a harrowing 85-degree angle. Reaching a top speed of 75 mph, the ride will swoop and tear way above Comet, the park's classic wooden coaster. Read more about Skyrush, including its unique cantilevered cars.

Top 10 Most Underrated Roller Coasters
The top 10 most underrated roller coasters are the Rodney Dangerfields of parkdom: They just don't get no respect. No respect at all. Maybe they are overshadowed by bigger, flashier coasters on the midway. Or perhaps they are located at smaller parks that are generally under the radar of most ride fans. Whatever the reason, the coasters on my list offer wonderful ride experiences; but I'll wager there's a good chance you'd never know it, because you've never heard of them. I aim to change that by giving these underrated coasters some of the love they deserve.
