When I was growing up, leg of lamb would always be at the center of our Easter dinner. It was a tradition you could count on, along with the first course of ravioli, and baked artichokes on the side. In my husband's family, however, their Easter dinner was always baked ham. So after we got married, we needed to compromise by serving leg of lamb some years and baked ham in other years.
