Martinique - A Tropical French Food Experience
Imagine kicking back on a sugar sand beach, Ti-Rum cocktail in hand, inhaling the warm trade winds of a tropical ocean. France probably doesn't come to mind, but Martinique is an overseas department of the country. A small island in the southeastern Caribbean Sea, it's also home to a magical blend of proper French and tropical Creole cuisines.

Cajun and Creole Recipes
Cajun and Creole recipes come from a wide swath of geography that encompasses Canada from the Gulf of Saint Lawrence in Northeastern Canada down to areas of Lousiana in the United States. A rich blended heritage of French, Spanish, African, and Caribbean cultures have contributed to flavorful Cajun and Creole food.

Foods of Belgium
Belgium borders northeast France and takes its cuisine from a tumultuous history of invasions and reign by the Romans, Vikings, Germans, Austrians, French, German, Spanish, and Dutch. Belgian recipes are famous for having the quality and finesse of French cuisine while being served in the big portions by which German cuisine is known.

French Toast Recipes from Around the World
Most French toast recipes are variations of bread soaked in cinnamon or vanilla custard. Many other cultures have their own delicious versions of what the French call pain perdu. If you're looking for a little change from the standard fare and want to get creative in the kitchen, try these French toast recipes and from around the world.
