From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
You know that balance and order have returned to the universe and all is well when seasonal water parks, as well as theme parks and amusement parks, reopen their gates for a new season.

Water Park Season is Nearly Here

Granted, water parks in chillier climes still have a few weeks to go, but Florida Water Parks are either already open or will open shortly. For example, Big Kahuna's, a water park in Destin on the Gulf coast, is set to open May 7. The park features a generous assortment of watery diversions, including body slides, tube slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool along with featured attractions such as Honolulu Half Pipe, a FlowRider surfing attraction, and Maui Pipeline, a set of three thrilling speed slides. Read more about Big Kahuna's.

Giant News Out of Texas
One of the most anticipated coasters debuting this season isn't really new. But it has been substantially changed. Read about The Texas Giant, the legendary wooden coaster at Six Flags Over Texas that has been reborn as a mutant wood-steel hybrid coaster--and is getting great reviews.
