From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
Summer is flying by too quickly. I'm trying to figure out how to make it last until next year. All suggestions are welcome. Have an Entertaining week!

Host an Outdoor Movie Night Party
It's been so hot where I live that the low temperatures at night don't drop much below eighty degrees. Which means for those of us that like to take a walk in the morning, all you have to do is step outside to break a sweat. However, the good news is that this is the perfect time to plan an outdoor movie night party. We had one of those two weeks ago and no one even needed to use the sweatshirts they brought along just in case it turned chilly. Just be sure to stock up on plenty of cold beverages.

Plan an Outdoor Rustic Italian Dinner Party
You can plan a Rustic Italian Dinner Party at any time of the year. But I think summer is the best time to do it because it makes decorating for your party so easy. Use items that are readily available in the summertime at a reasonable cost. And I don't need to remind anyone that hosting it outside makes your clean up after the party much easier too.

Corn-on-the-Cob Necessities
Corn is in season and I can't get enough of it. These corn-on-the-cob tools make serving corn to your guests a little bit less messy.

"Love at First Bite, the Unofficial Twilight Cook Book"
There was no escaping it - with both a tween and teen age daughter, I had to discover the "Twilight" series. They were too young and innocent to learn the ways of the dark world of vampires without my guidance, or at least that's what I told myself. So with three fans of the series in this house, we couldn't resist exploring "Love at First Bite" when it was offered for review.
