From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
The Arabella sailing ship doesn't have Las Vegas style entertainment, a state-of-the-art gym, or luxurious suites with balconies. The Arabella does have billowing sails overhead, visits to quiet coves and beaches, and no crowds or lines. It's a great ship for a relaxing week in the Caribbean (or in New England in the summer).

Arabella BVI Cruise Travel Log
All types of cruises offer terrific vacation opportunities, but those looking for a relaxing week in the Caribbean might enjoy the Arabella, a 40-passenger, 160-foot sailing yacht. What's different about a sailboat? Join me for a week on the Arabella.

Arabella Photo Gallery
These photos from around the Arabella demonstrate some of the key differences from a traditional cruise ship. It's definitely cozier, but still has great food, a friendly crew, and excellent opportunities for fun onboard, in the water, and ashore.

Exploring The Baths on Virgin Gorda
The Baths on Virgin Gorda in the BVI are a fascinating group of huge boulders that seem to litter the western end of the island. It's great fun to feel your way in and around the boulders either on land or while snorkeling, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day there from the Arabella.

Looking for Treasure on Norman Island
The Arabella spent a day on uninhabited Norman Island, allowing us the chance to explore the sea caves and look for Blackbeard's treasure. (Note: We didn't find it, but still enjoyed the excellent snorkeling.)
