From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
I can't believe we've hit the mid-point in the year. Thank goodness July 4th gives us all a good excuse for a timeout to enjoy food, fun, and relaxation. Have an Entertaining week!

Easy Ways to Create a Patriotic Tabletop
You can set a patriotic mood with both your food and your summertime table accessories. To help you set the mood when you bring the party outside, I've put together several colorful food ideas and a list of what I feel are the most necessary entertaining accessories for the season.

Pack a Picnic for the Fireworks
We still aren't sure where we'll be watching the fireworks this weekend for the 4th of July. There are several choices spaced throughout the weekend so, if the weather is good, maybe we'll go to more than one! But wherever we choose to go, we always like to pack a few star-spangled nibbles for when we're waiting for it to get dark. You know, you build up quite an appetite sitting there and watching the sun go down. Excitement can be quite a workout!

Plan a Wimbledon Viewing Party
The Wimbledon tournament is in full swing right now and is serving up some interesting surprises. Now is the time to plan a Wimbledon viewing party with your fellow tennis loving friends. You have two full weekends to relax and enjoy watching someone else running around in the heat before you, of course, head to the courts yourself.

It's Thank You Letter Season
Well, there isn't an official thank you letter season, but my guess is that a lot of those letters are being written this month. As I drive through my neighborhood I see graduation balloons everywhere, and there are a higher number of searches than usual on this site for information on writing thank you notes for money gifts.
