From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
Spain's PortAventura purports to send its visitors on a globetrotting adventure, condensed to a single day. Instead of Epcot's somewhat high-minded take on international travel, the European park opts for a more fanciful--and often thrill-packed--vision of exotic locales.

Around the World in a Day
Spain's largest theme park offers idealized, bite-sized versions of places such as Mexico, China, and America's "Far West." During a recent visit, it was quite a hoot for this US expat to see Spain's version of cowboys and an idealized John Wayne Old West. Read more about PortAventura.

Revenge of the Pix
Are you curious about what the recast Star Tours ride looks like? After you take a peek at my review of the new(ish) attraction, peruse the photo gallery. Among its wild features, Star Tours - The Adventures Continue offers multiple possible destinations, scenes, and characters. A computer-generated program randomly splices the scenes together, so guests are unlikely to have the same ride experience twice. See some of the potential places passengers could go, including the bustling planet Coruscant, the frozen ice planet Hoth, and the desert planet Tatoonie in the Star Tours gallery.

Are You the Next George Romero?
Or Wes Craven, John Carpenter, or other budding (or is that blooding) horror film director? If so, I've got an intriguing contest for you.

Everybody's a Critic. How about You?
Have you been to Disney World? Have you dined at a Disney World restaurant? Did you have a memorable meal? (I'll leave it to you to define "memorable.") Then how about lending your opinion by posting a mini review? It'll only take a few moments.
