From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
It looks like this nice weather is going to stick around for a while. So it's time to go full steam ahead and make sure everything is in order for outdoor parties. Have an Entertaining week!

Must Have Games for Outdoor Parties
When you're hosting an outside party, barbecue, pool party, or cocktail party, keep these games available for casual, pick-up fun. Most everyone knows how to play them and, if not, they're easy enough to learn.

Did You Plant Your Garden Last Weekend?
In my part of the country, Mother's Day is rumored to be the date when it's safe to plant your vegetable garden. I get this from a reliable source, my dad, who is an avid gardener, and so we dutifully planted our tomatoes. Another avid gardener is Sarah Raven, and she has published a new cookbook called "Fresh from the Garden" which is all about using produce at its seasonal best. Read about "Fresh from the Garden" in this review.

How to Host a Friendly Milestone Birthday Party!
We've had an ongoing discussion in the Entertaining Forum about How to Host a Milestone Birthday Party. Some readers are all for making the parties humorous by loading on the denture cream and other funny products. Others aren't quite so sure and think that it would be better to be kinder to the milestone birthday boy or girl. What do you think? Add your two cents by visiting our forum.

Plan a Picnic Dinner in the Park
It seems that once the weather turns a little bit warm, everyone is all for taking our parties on the road. Seems like a great way to combine two favorite things - food and sunshine!
