| | Wife E went to a conference yesterday, in a town in the Appennino Romagnolo called Bagno di Romagna -- Bagno has a number of meanings associated to one degree of another with water, and the organizers did include a massage in one of the town's hot springs.
Today Daughter C and I joined E. The dog was with us, so the pool was not an option and we therefore took advantage of the other thing the town has to offer: hiking trails, including some well suited to children. A beautiful way to spend a warm spring day, and on the way home we stopped to walk a trail from which you can see, in one direction, Monte Falterona, where the Arno starts, and in the other monte Fumarolo, where the Tiber starts. Beautiful green mountains!
