Best of Europe

From James Martin, your Guide to Europe Travel
I'm in the process of writing a mobile app about Sardinia, and I'm excited to share some of the unique cultural aspects of the island--so we'll start with the quintessential nuraghe, Su Nuraxi. If 2000 year old stone towers are too old for you, how about dining in the shadow of an old Soviet Ilyushin IL-14 airplane in a hangar at the end of a runway at Lucerne airport?

Su Nuraxi di Barumini Virtual Tour
One of the interesting things about Mediterranean Island culture is the unique architecture that arises out of their prehistoric isolation. The conical stone towers of Sardinia are certainly unique; you find nothing exactly like them anywhere else on earth. Su Nuraxi di Barumini, literally "THE Nuraghe" is a UNESCO World Heritage site you can visit when you're in Sardinia.

Zurich Airport Map and Information
In a month I'll be flying into Zurich Airport--and until recently I didn't know you could eat in the shadow of an old Soviet airplane at the end of Runway 34. Did you?

Pictures of Verona, Italy
Sure, you won't find skyscrapers in the medieval centers of Europe, but you can explore Verona through views of the medieval center from the top of the Torre dei Lamberti--after a little climb, of course. Or you can just gawk at our pictures.
