From Jen Hubley, your About Today Editor
When I was a kid, the best part of summer was going to theme parks. (Well, OK: The best part of summer was that we didn't have to go to school. But theme parks were a close second.)

World's Best Roller Coasters
You could only go so often, because it was kind of expensive, but when you went, it was basically kid heaven. A whole day in which you made yourself dizzy and ate junk food - sometimes at the same time or in an unfortunate sequence. It was pretty much the best.

What's New at Theme Parks in 2011
Now I'm older, which means only that I know more about getting deals at theme parks. It doesn't mean I'm any less excited for fried dough and dizziness.

The Best Rides of the Year
The new rides sound so much cooler, too. This is only partly because of the power of alliteration: Safari Sam's Splashland! Dare Devil Drive! Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular! OK, that last one also sounds like a prom theme. But still.

Best Water Theme Parks
As a kid, my favorite theme parks were water parks. There's something about not having to keep yourself neat and tidy that appeals to kids.
