While it can't compare to huge-budget presentations like Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights, the small park's Screemfest nonetheless offers plenty of holiday fear with roaming characters, loads of decorations, and five walk-through mazes. Read more about Screemfest. | A Mouse's House is His Castle It was 40 years ago today (well, actually last Saturday) that Mickey and the gang lowered the drawbridge on Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom. The Florida resort didn't have a blowout celebration planned (as it did for its 25th anniversary or as Disneyland did for its 50th birthday bash), but it did present a special character-packed parade, a sing-along stage show, and an anniversary-themed fireworks show.
