From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
The Ruby Princess will not have any new sister ships until 2013, so for now she is still the cruise line's newest jewel.

Tour of the Ruby Princess
The Ruby Princess is almost identical to her two older sisters--the Crown Princess and the Emerald Princess. However, she does have some different features that will appeal to the cruising public.

Ruby Princess Common Areas and Interiors
Probably the most distinctive feature on the new Ruby Princess is the large Piazza, which serves as the hub for all sorts of dining, drinking, and other shipboard activities, including "street" performers.

Ruby Princess Cabins and Suites
The Ruby Princess has five basic different types of cabins. The staterooms range in size from 160 square feet to 687 square feet, and all include twin beds that can be converted into a queen, refrigerator, television, closet and bathroom with shower (mini-suites and suites have a tub/shower combination).

Ruby Princess Outdoor Common Areas
The Ruby Princess has two large swimming pools on the Lido Deck--Neptune's Pool and the Calypso Pool. The 300 square foot, 69,000-watt "Movies Under the Stars" screen overlooks the Calypso Pool. One of the best spots outdoors is aft on the Lido Deck.
