 | Usually I'd be spending this time of year in northern Tuscany, but horrible weather has ravaged the coast of Italy, and the devastation includes laying waste to the trails and parts of Cinque Terre villages. Our market town of Aulla, our Italian neighbors tell us, is a mass of smashed automobiles. A river runs through it. Hundreds of suddenly homeless folks are using the (tiny) old train station as a refuge. We'll have some coverage on our EuroTravel Facebook Page. | |
