From Setsuko Yoshizuka, your Guide to Japanese Food
Hi everyone! Do you like stuffed green bell peppers? I will introduce a Japanese-style stuffed green pepper recipe this week.

Japanese Stuffed Green Bell Peppers
To make Japanese-style stuffed green peppers, peppers are cut in half lengthwise and stuffed with seasoned ground pork.

Chicken Tatsuta-age
Chicken tatsuta-age is Japanese-style fried chicken. The surface of tatsuta-age chicken looks slightly white, because marinated chicken is coated with katakuriko (potato starch) before frying. This crispy fried chicken makes a tasty appetizer or side dish. I like packing cooled chicken tatsua-age in my bento.

Japanese Recipe of the Week: Hiyashi Chuka with Sesame Flavored Dressing
Hiyashi chuka is popular cold noodles in Japan. I often crave hiyashi chuka for lunch on hot days and eat it with different flavored dressing and toppings. This hiyashi chuka is served with sesame flavored dressing (gomadare).
