From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
I always enjoy playing with food, and no time more so than at Halloween. This newsletter is filled with ideas for making fun food and treats to serve your guests at this year's Halloween bash. Have an Entertaining week!

Fun Halloween Cupcake Ideas
There are so many ways to create the mood for a Halloween party. You can set the mood using decorations; hosting a theme party; and by serving spooky food and drinks. And one of the easiest things you can do is decorate cupcakes using readily available treats that everyone, young and old, will love. Best of all, the cupcakes and toppings are completely edible.

Halloween Cake Pops
I made these cake pops for our Halloween party last year. While they're easy to make, they do take some time to prepare, so make sure you leave yourself enough time so that you're not rushed at the last minute as your prepare for your party. In fact, make these Halloween Cake Pops the day before your party, they'll hold as long as you can keep your family away from stealing them.

Spooky Halloween Party Food and Drinks
Halloween is the perfect party for going all out with decorations to set the mood for your theme. We and our guests enjoy those little shivers running up and down our spines on this delightfully creepy night each year. The refreshments we serve at this party also help to create the mood. Whether it's food that actually looks like something awful or is simply named to match the Halloween theme, it's fun to be creative in the kitchen. Here are my favorite picks for Spooky Halloween Party Food and Drinks.

Plan a Mall Scavenger Hunt Party
It was my younger daughter's birthday last weekend so we've been remembering some of her parties from previous years. One year we hosted a party that was perfect for a tween girl, a scavenger hunt in the local mall.
