Stay at a Resort, See a Great Concert
The Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort - a giant resort just south of the Cancun airport -- recently staged a high-adrenaline concert by Shakira for over 17000 fans. The Atlantis Bahamas has put on big-name performances too. For visiting families, on-property concerts have some appealing features. Those with young kids can arrange for in-room baby-sitting so parents can step out to the (nearby) show; those with older kids can enjoy the performance all together. | Disney's Hawaii Resort, Aulani, Opening Soon
Disney's new Aulani Resort is on track to welcome guests on August 29 2011. Location is Oahu's west coast, about 45 minutes from Waikiiki. The Aulani devotes unusual attention to Hawaiian culture, with many details embodied in its design. And of course this is also a super-fun resort, with beautiful beach, pools, spa, snorkeling lagoon, specially designed restaurants, and Aunty's Beach House Kids Club which has a real-person "Aunty Nettie" in residence.
