Cooking Japanese, I think I'm cooking Japanese, I really think so! This week, it's all about Japanese food! First, watch a brief video and learn how to roll sushi - once you get the hang of it, it's really quite simple. Browse through some other Japanese recipes, and have a meal of sushi, tempura, miso soup, and more! Enjoy!

Making vegetarian sushi
Think sushi is too tricky to make at home? Watch this video to learn how to make healthy, low-fat vegetarian sushi at home, and you'll be rolling in no time! My favorite fillings for vegetarian sushi are avocado and tofu (yes, tofu!), but feel free to get creative and experiment to find what you like best. Try combining, cream cheese, tempeh, carrots, bell peppers, cucumber or sweet potatoes.

Japanese vegetable tempura is a popular vegetarian choice when eating at a Japanese restaurant, as most places will have a vegetable tempura on the menu. Tempura is deep-fried and battered vegetables. If you'd like to try making a vegetarian tempura recipe at home, this is an easy vegetarian and vegan recipe to try. My favorite vegan tempura ingredient is sweet potatoes!
