Fall is harvest time, and a great many Italian towns hold festivals of one sort or another to mark the event. Not ours, however; though we are surrounded by vineyards, some of the other towns in the township are better known for their wines. So the various neighborhoods compete, with the final challenge being target shooting, with crossbows. Impressive, and though we didn't win I did enjoy watching.
