Let me start with, no you can't use that pumpkin that's been sitting on your porch since before Halloween to make these treats. The fresh pumpkins you can use for baking are about the size of a softball or are 5 to 8-inches in diameter. I've included directions for preparing fresh pumpkins as well as some very tasty recipes you can make with it too.

World's Best Pumpkin Bread
Yes, I believe this is the World's Best Pumpkin Bread. It's a deliciously spicy and moist bread. Make it once and you'll also be calling it the World's Best Pumpkin Bread.

Pumpkin Roll Cake
Speaking of moist, this Pumpkin Roll Cake is very moist. Not only is the cake moist, but when you "roll-in" a cream cheese frosting, yum-my!

Pumpkin Dump Cake
Just like the same says, you dump the ingredients into your pan and bake it. You could almost think of this Pumpkin Dump Cake as a Pumpkin Cobbler with the soft filling and crust topping.

Pumpkin Pancakes
I don't know why we just don't make pumpkin pancakes anytime of year. We could as canned pumpkin is carried in the grocery store all year long.
