 | I've began shopping on the day after Thanksgiving with my grandmother when I was 8-years-old. Today I shop with my daughter and a very good friend. Each year the stores have done their best to take some of our joy out of shopping on that day. First of all, just the name "Black Friday" doesn't even sound like it could be a fun day of shopping. Second of all, each year the stores began opening earlier and earlier. In fact, some stores are even open on Thanksgiving Day. This year is the worse though. A good portion of the stores are opening at midnight. So I guess there's no eating brunch after and early morning of shopping. I don't even think I'm going this year.
