From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
This is the time of the year when I think about moving to someplace very warm. It's also the time when I eat a lot of cheese and chocolate and then hide myself under the covers. I wonder if that's what bears eat before they hibernate? Have an Entertaining week!

Host a Golden Globes Viewing Party
It's that dreary time of year when we could use something to brighten our days. And what could be more sparkly than a Hollywood awards ceremony like the Golden Globes this coming Sunday night? Instead of just sitting in front of the television with a bag of chips, you can turn this into an event by hosting a Golden Globes Viewing Party. I've gotten the inside scoop on the menu that will be served at the official event, and I've put together a similar menu that you can enjoy at your own party. I leave it to you to sparkle, glitter and brighten the night for your friends who are similarly weary of the dreariness.

Recipe for an Unforgettable Party
This might just be one of the easier recipes you'll tackle this year. With the right mix of ingredients you can plan parties that turn out the way you picture them in your mind, and that will become unforgettable events in the minds of your guests. Here's my Recipe for an Unforgettable Party.

Discover a New Cheese
One of the easiest entertaining tricks is to prepare a cheese board as your appetizer, first course, or dessert course. As you can see, it's one of the most versatile entertaining tools in any host's back pocket. Very few people can resist nibbling on cheese, especially when you offer them a new and intriguing variety. Over the holidays I discovered Epoisses cheese for the first time and I'm madly in love with it. Who knew cheese could be as romantic as chocolate?

Take Our Poll - What's Your Favorite Sports Party Snack?
The NFL football season is building to the big finale in a few weeks, the Super Bowl. Along the way there are still plenty of opportunities for football viewing parties as we cheer on our teams to the final matchup. When it comes to football parties, there are certain snack foods that are classic on the party table. But what I'm wondering is which snacks are mandatory for this site's readers. What is the one snack, that if it were missing, would mean it wasn't a good football party. Take our poll and let us know your absolutely favorite sports party snack.
