From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
The first month of the new year is almost over, and the first new ship, the Disney Dream, was officially named last week. Over the next six months, 13 more cruise ships and river vessels will be launched. This week's newsletter provides an overview of these 14 new ships and river vessels.

Disney Dream
The 4000-passenger Disney Dream is the first new cruise ship in 2011 to arrive in the USA from her European shipbuilder, and her first cruise is to the Bahamas today.

Marina of Oceania Cruises
The 1,258-passenger Marina is Oceania Cruises' first newbuild, and will be the premium cruise line's largest ship. Although the Marina is larger, Oceania has continued many of the most popular features of its three other ships.
