A number of recently released reports indicate many Americans don't use all of their annual vacation days--that's a real shame. So while we have a number of suggestions for places to visit this year, our most important suggestion is this: just go. Somewhere. Anywhere. We think you'll be glad you did.

London Goes for Gold
It's a big year for London: the summer Olympics are fast approaching, and major celebrations are planned in honor of the Queen's 60th year wearing the crown. We think a pre- or post-Olympics trip is the best time to visit: you'll enjoy all the amenities of London's ongoing facelift minus the crowds.

Discover Vibrant Cultures in Eastern Europe
Move over, Western Europe: it's Eastern Europe's time to shine. Still comparatively untouristed and offering a rich tapestry of diverse cultures and attractions, this long-overlooked region has something for everyone.

Three Cities to Consider:

Sri Lanka, Pearl of the Indian Ocean
Its long civil war now firmly in the rearview mirror, untouched Sri Lanka is poised to be "the next big thing" in South Asia. Visit mountainous tea lands, explore ancient ruins, search for exotic wildlife on safari, or relax on deserted beaches.
