Sensational Seafood Shu Mai
Also known as "Cook and Sell" dumplings, these are the tasty dumplings recognizable by their cup or basket shape, with the filling sticking out at the top. This recipe, made from fish cakes, comes from Celine.

Cantonese Beef With Tomatoes
This simple home-cooked dish is a great way to show off this summer fruit. The oyster sauce and brown sugar in the beef marinade nicely balance the tomato taste.

Healthy Sprinach Soup With Tofu
Combining fresh spinach leaves with tofu and Chinese dried mushrooms makes a warming soup that is loaded with health benefits. To turn into a vegetarian dish, replace the chicken broth with vegetable broth.

Sponge Cake
In China, cakes are normally steamed, which makes them moist. Traditionally, the sponge cake would be served plain, but you can also add fresh or canned fruit, or top it with a bit of ice cream.
