From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
As the Theme Parks Guide for About.com, you'd expect that I'd have Disney World tips to share. And you'd be right. Also this week, let's take a sneak peek at a 2011-season Six Flags coaster and see what happens when a blast of snow befalls Disneyland Paris.

Making a Disney World List. Checking it Twice.
If you're making a pilgrimage to Florida, I've got a list of the top things to do at Disney World that I just wouldn't want you to miss. And I'm not just talking about the best rides (although rides and attractions figure heavily on the top-10 Disney countdown). Disney World is a massive vacation resort with many hotels, an astonishing number of restaurants, shopping and entertainment districts, and a wealth of other features to explore. Lucky for you, I've whittled it down to the Ten Best Things to Do at Disney World.

The Devil Is in the Details. See the Video.
95-foot vertical lift. 95-degree (that's beyond vertical) drop. 52 mph top speed. 2099 feet of track. Those are some of the intriguing details of Dare Devil Dive, a coaster coming to Six Flags Over Georgia next season. To get a sense of the new ride, see the just-released animated preview video. The "Euro Fighter"-style coaster looks like it's going to be one wild ride.

Going Below Deck with the Pirates
Today, it's hard to imagine Disneyland without Pirates of the Caribbean. It's such a signature and timeless attraction that it seems like it must have always been there. In fact, the Pirates didn't hoist their sails until eleven years after the original Disney theme park opened. And they almost never set sail at all--at least not in the form that we now know and love. Learn more about the classic ride from Disney legend Marty Sklar.
