Daughter C, like a great many Italian 9-year olds, goes to catechism class once a week, and after the class we both go to Mass (in case you were wondering, I am Protestant, but if she has to go so do I). A couple of weeks ago our Priest told us an African priest would be joining the Parish, and last night he said Mass. Quite well; his Italian is excellent, and his homily on John the Baptist and how he relates to Advent was also nice.
