| Christmas Lights, Windows, Festivals...
Strolling along a sidewalk, looking at Christmas windows, is a lovely -- and free-- way to enjoy the holiday spirit. In other places, families can walk or drive through dazzling displays of lights, such as Chicago's "Magnificent Mile Lights Festival", or Albuquerque's River of Lights.
| Disney World Christmas Celebrations, Magic Kingdom
Orlando, of course, goes all out during the holiday season. At Disney World, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a highlight in the Magic Kingdom theme park, with special fireworks, snow on Main Street, and a Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

The Epcot theme park also has major seasonal events. Holidays Around the World showcases Christmas displays and customs from eleven different countries, and the Candlelight Processional is a hugely popular nightly performance that retells the Christmas story with a celebrity narrator and a choir and 50-piece orchestra.
