From Peggy Trowbridge Filippone, your Guide to Home Cooking
Thanksgiving is only a week away, so time to start planning and have all your ducks in a row. I recommend you bookmark the Hotlines page, the Thanksgiving recipes page (which includes turkey roasting charts, how to thaw a turkey, stuffing charts, etc.), and the Thanksgiving side dishes (which includes detailed articles and recipes for traditional side dishes such as mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes/yams, stuffing, cranberries, and more). If you are not attending a large family Thanksgiving gathering, you might want to consider cornish hens. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and remember, you can work it all off shopping on Black Friday!

Find out and try some game hen recipes such as Fruit Cornish Hens (pictured), Orange Marmalade Cornish Hens, Herbed Cornish Hens with Pasta, or one of the 7 Quick Fixes for Cornish Game Hens... Whipped cream on top is an extra-special decadent touch, but this cheesecake stands on its own. .. Read more

Find turkey and other popular holiday food hotlines such as USDA, Reynolds Wrap, Butterball Turkey, Land O' Lakes, Betty Crocker, Fleischman's Yeast, Nestle's Toll House, Ocean Spray and more. Each is also linked to their corresponding website, most of which have a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
