From Arthur Levine, your Guide to Theme Parks
Might visitors to Universal Orlando expecting to find a Harry Potter theme park be disappointed when they encounter the actual 20-acre land? Take the poll. In other Universal news, Eddie Murphy may have sounded like a bit of an ass.

Take the Potter Park Poll
The current issue of "Entertainment Weekly" has a feature about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The headline on the cover promises "A Sneak Peek at the New Theme Park." The marketing wizards at Universal have been describing the new Potter land as a "theme park within a theme park." That has led to many media reports about the "Harry Potter theme park."

As the magazine correctly points out in its article, however, The Wizarding World is a land within Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure theme park and not a park unto itself. Might the confusion lead to disappointment when visitors expecting a full-blown Harry Potter theme park instead discover a 20-acre land with three attractions (two of which are repurposed existing coasters)? I dunno. But I ask you to take the Potter Park Poll and voice your opinion. Then continue the conversation by clicking on the "Comments" link below the poll.

Park Fans: Are You Game for Something New?
I love theme parks (obviously), but I've never been much of a gamer. There are, however, legions of fans that love both parks and video games. Witness the huge popularity of park-themed games such as Roller Coaster Tycoon (soon to become a motion picture apparently). In their quest to introduce more interactivity, many parks have added game-like attractions such as Disney's Toy Story Mania and Men In Black Alien Attack at Universal Studios Florida. Read more about two recent developments that seek to further unite the video game and park worlds.

Did Eddie Murphy Bug Universal?
I had to chuckle while reading the latest issue of "Entertainment Weekly." (Yup. Two theme park references in the same issue of the mainstream media magazine.) I don't think the folks at the Universal parks are chuckling, however. Read more about how Eddie Murphy may have dissed Universal.

Moaning? In the Potter Potties?
It seems there may some strange things going on in the Hosgsmeade Village loos at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
