Took Daughter C to see Alice in Wonderland the other day. Very impressive, with spectacular special effects, and whoever came up with the creatures and sets deserves all sorts of awards, though I'm less certain about the plot of the film, which seems more linear than the books were. And then there was the matter of language -- like almost all movies shown in Italy it was dubbed, and some of Carroll's English simply doesn't translate. But it was fun, and if you have kids they will like it. Son R, who is 16, did too.
