| | "Arthur Levine, you and your frostbitten family are bracing for yet another winter storm. What are you going to do next?" "I'm NOT going to Disney World!" Grrr. Snowy weather lead to my cancelled Orlando flight, which meant I didn't head to Florida last week. To help me (and maybe you?), um, chill out, about all of the snow (it's snowing even as I write this), let's take a look at Wet'n'Wild Hawaii, shall we? And while we're at it, let's dream about Coney Island in the summer. BTW, the temperature forecast for Oahu today? A balmy 76 degrees. Read about the Tornado funnel ride, the Shaka half-pipe ride, and other attractions--and wish that you were hanging out in the park's hot tub rather than shoveling the snow in your driveway. Again. | Luna Park's Race to Open at Coney Island this May The City of New York and Central Amusement International, the company that will operate two new Coney Island parks, revealed details about the revitalized Brooklyn amusement area yesterday. | Coney Island's Wonder Wheel The iconic Wonder Wheel stands as a testament to the Industrial Era and to a bygone era of Coney Island.
