Buddha's Delight

Romantic Chinese New Year Dinner For Two
Another way to celebrate the Year of the Tiger is to prepare a romantic dinner for two - after all, Chinese New Year happens to fall on Valentine's Day this year. Here are a number of recipe ideas, from appetizers through to dessert.

Tofu and Winter Vegetable Soup
According to Buddhist tradition, vegetables are eaten at the start of the lunar year to purify the body and bring good luck. This is another recipe from Chef Theresa Lin, known for her food design on the hit film "Eat Drink Man Woman."

Peking Duck
Beijing's most famous dish, Peking Duck is traditionally served with Mandarin pancakes, and green onions for brushing on the hoisin sauce.
