From Donna Pilato, your Guide to Entertaining
Easter and Passover were so late this year that we seem to be moving from these holidays right into the next reasons for a party, namely Cinco de Mayo, Kentucky Derby and Mother's Day. Take a deep breath and begin the preparations. Have an Entertaining week!

Start to Plan Your Family Reunion
Families gathered last week for Passover and Easter Sunday celebrations. But if you live too far away to see your family over these holidays, you might want to create your own special family "holiday" by planning a family reunion for the summer when family members have more leisure time to travel since they can take time off from work and school.

Mix Up a Margarita Free From Guilt
Easter and Passover are both over, but we won't be short on party opportunities for the next several weeks. That's because next week we have Cinco de Mayo, the Kentucky Derby and Mother's Day, all in the span of a few days. Are you exhausted yet? With all of that partying on the horizon, it's nice to find ways to lighten up the cocktails so that we don't feel too guilty while enjoying ourselves. The folks from Partida Tequila have shared this recipe for a "Guilt Free" Partida Margarita which, in my opinion, loses nothing in the taste while saving calories.

Prepare for Your Kentucky Derby Party
And they're off! Those three little words ignite what's been termed the most exciting two minutes in sports. This year the 137th Kentucky Derby, the 'run for the roses', will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2011. Time to plan your party, your hat, and gather mint for the mint juleps.

Host a Mexican Fiesta for Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo is one of the largest Mexican celebration days, and the most popular one to cross the border. Entertain your family and friends with an authentic Mexican dinner party.
