Chinese New Year

From Rhonda Parkinson, your Guide to Chinese Food
This week's recipes include a bubble tea latte, grilled lemon chicken, and a different recipe for scallion pancakes that uses coconut milk.

Mango Pudding - Photo Instructions
I came across some ripe mangoes at Chinatown last weekend, and couldn't pass them up! I used them to make this flavorful mango pudding recipe from cookbook author Stephen Wong. It replaces the heavier cream commonly used to make mango pudding with evaported milk. I've included photos of each step of the process.

Grilled (or Broiled) Lemon Chicken
Sure, citrus fruits are available all year, but their bright color and clean flavor makes them especially appropriate for Spring. In this recipe, chicken breasts are marinated in a flavorful mixture that includes lemon juice, soy sauce and fresh cilantro and parsley before being grilled.

Chicken With Snow Peas
Sweet, crunchy snow peas are one of the earliest spring vegetables. Here, the bright color and texture of snow peas pairs nicely with chicken.
