From Linda Garrison, your Guide to Cruises
The Balearic Islands of Mallorca and Ibiza have long been a favorite playground of Europeans, but cruise travelers can also enjoy all these sunny Spanish islands have to offer.

Things to Do with a Day in Mallorca
Whether it's spelled Mallorca or Majorca, this island playground attracts over 6 million tourists a year. On a busy summer day, over 700 flights land at the Palma airport, and the harbor is packed with cruise ships. The island is beautiful, with plenty to see and do.

Valldemossa Photo Gallery
Valldemossa is a wonderful village high in the mountains of Mallorca. The town is most famous as the location where Frederic Chopin and George Sand spent the winter of 1838.

Palma de Mallorca Photo Gallery
Palma is the capital city of Mallorca, with much to see and do. Its skyline is dominated by a huge cathedral whose altar was designed by Antoni Gaudi.

Ibiza - Another Balearic Playground
Ibiza is the southernmost island of the Balearic Islands of Spain. Ibiza's year-round population of 73,000 grows to much more than that during the busy summer season when vacationers from northern Europe and small cruise ships come to Ibiza for fun and sun.
