| Summer Staycation?
Meanwhile, the word "Staycation" is getting more familiar, as many families opt out of road trips (gas prices!) and air travel (Stress!), and stick close to home. One type of staycation means staying right at home and taking time to do day trips, eat out, or just relax. Another approach is to stay at a nearby hotel: still local, but without the busy-ness and every-dayness of home. Go sightseeing, do outings like a Duck Tour-- do the fun things tourists do in your town.

Summer time means bargain time in the Caribbean, where many popular all inclusives give discounts that keep going for months; all inclusives in Mexico too make prices more attractive in summer time. And remember, you can find some all inclusive options right in the US.
