New Review: Vermont Castings 5-Burner VCS500 Gas Grill
This is a heavy grill with heavy cast iron and stainless steel body parts. The 62,500 BTU output from five stainless steel burners is more than enough to heat the nearly 651 square inches of primary grilling area. Recently redesigned to improve quality, the Vermont Castings VCS500 is a good, full feature grill. The materials used are excellent and the construction is definitely superior to the mass market, store brand grills in this price range. Look to spend around $2,000USD for this grill (more if you want an infrared searing side burner). What you get is durability and cooking abilities.
