Some foods have no season. They're meant to be eaten year round. So, I say, it absolutely is the season for pizza. Right now!

Pizza never gets boring: it's fun to make, can be personalized any different ways, and just about everyone loves it. Homemade vegetarian or vegan pizzas can be prepared pretty healthy too. Cut down on the cheese or use a low-fat or dairy-free substitute for a less-greasy base, and pile on the veggies!
